Like other authors, news of this site pissed me off. While I still don't think it was a good idea, I have a different read on the motivations after reading this. That said, trying to quantify the artistic process like this is something that is doomed for failure. Writing is a spooky art, and the mysteries inherent in the practice should stay as such. It's not an equation to be solved.
